He Bought a Diesel Recovery Kit and Won a RAM 2500

Jayden was sitting in a hospital room in Smithfield, Utah with his wife and their day-old baby boy when his phone rang. We were on the other end of the FaceTime. He’d just won a 2022 RAM 2500 Limited Mega Cab. New dad and new truck owner in the same 24 hours. You couldn’t script that one if you tried.

Jayden’s entry was a diesel truck off-road recovery kit he picked up from us a while back. Up until the call, he and his wife had been a one-car family. He mentioned that a second vehicle, especially a truck, was about to make life with a brand new baby a whole lot easier. Timing couldn’t have been any better.

The Build

RAM 2500 Limited Mega Cab on the inside, full off-road build on the outside. The base was already loaded with the Premium Limited Interior trim and the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel under the hood. From there, here’s what we threw at it:

  • 3-1/4” Full Carli suspension with King shocks and custom rear airbags

Jayden’s wife and brand new baby couldn’t make the trip up to HQ, so he rolled up with one of his buddies to grab the keys. We did the reveal, took the truck out for a ride, then walked him through the shop. He couldn’t wait to get it home and show his family the new family hauler.
