Yankum Ropes is a kinetic recovery rope and off-road gear manufacturer based in Burley, Idaho. We've been making American-made recovery gear since 2019. The giveaways are something we genuinely enjoy doing they're not the business.

Winners are picked by a third party — not us
Every drawing is run by Game of Chance Sweepstakes LLC, our independent sweepstakes administrator. They give us 10 finalists chosen and random from which we draw a winner. We then make the call and deliver the news which we document on video every time.

Because our giveaways are real, scammers impersonate us on Instagram, Facebook, and SMS. They'll DM you saying you've won and ask for a "shipping fee" or your bank info. That's not us. Here are the only ways we'll ever contact a winner:

The Prize
A 2022 RAM 1500 TRX in Granite Crystal Grey. Under the hood sits a supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 pushing 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The same engine Dodge put in the Hellcat. This is a truck that makes everything else on the road feel slow. It hits 60 in under 4 seconds. Dodge built it this way on purpose and now one of you will be driving it home.

Yankum Ropes started in 2019 in Burley, Idaho with one goal: build the best recovery gear on the planet, in America, by Americans. Every braid, splice, and stitch happens in our shop. Not overseas, not contracted out.
The giveaways came later. We do them because we love this community, and because honestly, calling someone to tell them they just won a rig is the best part of our year. We're not a marketing funnel disguised as a giveaway. We're a manufacturer that happens to give stuff away.

Common questions
Do I have to buy something to enter?
No. Federal sweepstakes law requires a free method of entry, and we honor it on every giveaway. The free-entry path is in our Official Rules and gets you the same odds as any paid entry.
How is the winner actually chosen?
Once the entry window closes, the full entry list is handed over to Game of Chance Sweepstakes LLC our independent third-party sweepstakes administrator. They run the random drawing of 10 finalists. We then conduct a random drawing from those 10 and call the winner on camera.
Are the winners real? Can I verify?
Every winner is real, with their name and location published on our winners page and full call videos on our YouTube.
What happens if I win? Are there hidden costs?
Nothing hidden. We include a $1,000 shipping budget. You're responsible for state-level title/registration fees and federal taxes (you'll get an IRS Form 1099 for the prize value). If you'd rather not deal with that, you can take the cash alternative equal to one-third of the stated prize value. Your call.
Someone DM'd me saying I won. Is it real?
Almost certainly not. We never contact winners through Instagram DMs, Facebook DMs, WhatsApp, or text from random numbers. We call from a verified Idaho number and email from @yankum.com. If anyone asks you to pay a fee, send a gift card, or share bank details it's a scammer. Forward it to us so we can report it.
Who can enter?
U.S. residents 18+ (or legal age in your state), excluding Rhode Island and Minnesota. Yankum employees and their immediate families are not eligible. Maximum 100,000 entries per person. Full eligibility details in the Official Rules.
What if I'm outside the U.S.?
Sweepstakes laws vary by country and we're only licensed and bonded in the U.S., so this giveaway is U.S.-only. We ship our recovery gear internationally though that part isn't restricted.
How long until I get the prize after winning?
Once you respond and complete the eligibility paperwork (you have 10 days), we coordinate pickup or transport directly to your address. Most winners have keys in hand within four to six weeks of the drawing.
