Warranty Statement

1. Warranty Coverage

Yankum Ropes ("Company") warrants to the original purchaser that its KERR, Soft Shackles, Winch Line, and Flat Straps products ("Products") are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

2. Limitations

This warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

  • Improper use, abuse, negligence, or accidents.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Improper installation or maintenance.
  • Use of the Products in applications for which they were not designed.

Products modified, altered, or repaired by anyone other than Company or its authorized service providers are not covered by this warranty.

3. Remedies

Should a Product be found to be defective within the warranty period, Company's sole obligation and the purchaser's exclusive remedy shall be, at Company's option, to repair or replace the defective Product without charge, or to refund the purchase price. The replacement or repaired Product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

4. Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

  • Contact Company's customer service to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Return the defective Product to Company, along with proof of purchase and a description of the defect, using the provided RMA number for reference. Photography of the incident (vehicles used, recovery points, etc) may also be required.

The purchaser is responsible for all costs associated with returning the Product to Company. Company will cover shipping costs for the return of the Product to the purchaser if the claim is found to be valid under this warranty.

5. Exclusions

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. ALL SUCH DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

6. Governing Law

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
